These are the most frequent questions that clients
ask before receiving treatment. Please don't hesitate to contact
us if you have any additional questions. |
What
kind of spray (air brush) tan system do you use? All spray or self
tan products contain DHA which reacts with your skin
to give you a "tan" We use a water based solution,
and have three formulas, light medium, and dark. This
allows for a natural looking tan, based on your skin
type.

How
is it applied? We use an air-brush system
that sprays the product on.

How
long can I expect it to last? With proper
care it should last approximately a week.

How
quickly will I get a tan? The solutions
contain a bronzing agent that leaves you with an
instant tan. This temporary bronzer will wash off
when you shower. The DHA takes approximately 12 hours
to fully develop.

Do
you offer an exfoliation treatment first? Ideally
no, most exfoliates contain oil. They prevent the
full penetration of the spray tanning product. We
suggest that you shower, shave, and exfoliate the
morning of your treatment, avoiding any moisturizer.

For
optimum results, please follow the instructions below:
Pre-Treatment
Instructions - Prior to tanning, take
a shower and exfoliate. Use a shower
puff, exfoliating glove, or washcloth to remove
dry skin. You may also want to shave.
Do not wear body lotion, deodorant or foundation makeup to your tanning session.
These will prevent the spray tan formula from interacting properly with your
skin.
Bring a swimsuit or undergarments to wear during your tanning session. Cotton
and dark colors are recommended. The tanning solution will wash out of cotton
clothing.

| Post-Treatment
Instructions - Bring loose fitting clothes
and sandals to wear home after your tanning session.
Bring a towel to sit on in the car after your tanning treatment. Bare legs may
cause the bronzer to rub off onto your car seat.
After your tanning treatment, wait between 8-12 hours before showering or exercising.
The solution will begin to develop and darken during
this time.
After showering, apply moisturizer. Hydrated skin maintains the tan longer. Do
not use lotions containing fruit acids, these will
exfoliate the skin and diminish your tan.
